The ICon Lab has a SMART Board by SMART Technologies. The SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard with a projected screen from the computer. The control computer for the SMART Board is the desktop computer sitting directly beside the main console in the ICon Lab behind the three screens and by the door to the equipment closet in the lab. This computer is configured on the AE Network, therefore, you can log into the machine using an AE or College of Engineering account. To use the whiteboard, the Smart board PC must be displayed on the Smart Board (on the AMX touch panel on the "Switching" page, select Smartboard PC as an input and then select Smart Board screen as an output. Then, log into the computer. You can then open the 'SMART Board Software - Notebook Software' from the 'Start' menu. This software allows you to write on the SMART Board as if it is a standard whiteboard, but it also allows for many additional functions, e.g., pasting predefined elements from a gallery and selectively viewing content on a page.
